Estimates and Proposals
Estimates provided by GVX Remodeling are based on the information available at the time of assessment. Please note:
- Estimates are valid for 30 days from the date issued unless otherwise specified.
- Final pricing may vary based on actual conditions discovered during the project, material costs, and scope changes.
- Any changes to the original scope of work will be documented in a written change order and must be approved before work proceeds.
- A signed contract and deposit are required before work begins.
Payment Terms
Payment terms vary by project size and scope. Typical terms include:
- A deposit is required upon contract signing (typically 10-33% of the project total).
- Progress payments may be required at predetermined milestones.
- Final payment is due upon satisfactory completion of the project.
- Accepted payment methods include check, credit card, and financing (where available).
Late payments may be subject to interest charges and collection fees as permitted by Washington State law.
Project Timeline
We strive to complete all projects within the estimated timeline. However, delays may occur due to:
- Weather conditions
- Permit approval processes
- Material availability and supply chain issues
- Discovery of unforeseen conditions
- Client-requested changes
We will communicate any anticipated delays promptly and work to minimize their impact on your project.
Warranties
Workmanship Warranty
GVX Remodeling provides a lifetime workmanship warranty on all labor performed by our team. This warranty covers defects in workmanship that affect the functionality or structural integrity of the work performed.
Material Warranties
Materials are covered by manufacturer warranties, which vary by product. We will provide warranty documentation for all major materials used in your project.
Warranty Exclusions
Warranties do not cover:
- Normal wear and tear
- Damage caused by misuse, neglect, or abuse
- Damage caused by third parties or acts of nature
- Alterations or repairs made by others after project completion
- Issues caused by failure to properly maintain the work
Permits and Inspections
GVX Remodeling will obtain all necessary permits for your project as required by local building codes. Permit fees are typically included in your project estimate unless otherwise noted.
We coordinate all required inspections with local authorities. Final inspection approval is required before the project is considered complete.
Property Access and Conditions
During the project, you agree to provide reasonable access to the work area. We will take precautions to protect your property, including:
- Covering floors and furnishings in work areas
- Daily cleanup of work areas
- Proper disposal of construction debris
- Securing the job site at the end of each workday
Please inform us of any existing conditions, utilities, or concerns that may affect the work before the project begins.
Cancellation Policy
If you need to cancel your project after signing a contract, the following terms apply:
- Cancellation within 3 business days of signing: Full refund of deposit (as required by Washington State law).
- Cancellation after 3 business days but before work begins: Deposit may be retained to cover administrative costs, design work, and material orders.
- Cancellation after work has begun: Client is responsible for all completed work, materials ordered, and reasonable termination costs.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, GVX Remodeling shall not be liable for:
- Indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
- Loss of profits, revenue, or business opportunities
- Damages arising from circumstances beyond our reasonable control
Our total liability for any claim arising from our services shall not exceed the total amount paid for the specific project giving rise to the claim.
Dispute Resolution
We believe in resolving disputes fairly and efficiently. In the event of a disagreement:
- Direct Communication: We encourage you to contact us directly to discuss and resolve any concerns.
- Mediation: If direct communication does not resolve the issue, we agree to participate in good-faith mediation before pursuing other remedies.
- Arbitration: Any disputes not resolved through mediation shall be resolved through binding arbitration in Clark County, Washington, in accordance with Washington State law.
Website Use
